After Liberty, God has continued to shape my life in a powerful way through the journey of entrepreneurship. Building businesses has been one of the main ways He has taught me deeper lessons about trust, humility, and stewardship. Over time, He’s reminded me again and again that He truly owns it all. When I start to think everything depends on me or that I need to control the outcome, He brings me back to the truth that He is the one who gives us the ability to produce wealth.
Through that process, I’ve learned that God doesn’t need our money—He wants our hearts. The work, the opportunities, and even the challenges have all been ways He’s refined my faith and reminded me that the real goal is faithful stewardship.
That perspective is a big part of why Harvest exists today. Looking back, it’s clear that the idea, the timing, and the doors that have opened along the way have all been guided by Him. He is the one who opens doors that no one can open and closes doors that only He can close. If anything good comes from this journey, He is the one who deserves all the glory.
Harvest is a digital investing platform built to lower the barriers to faith-based investing. For many years, investors who wanted their portfolios to reflect their Christian values often needed a financial advisor or larger account minimums to access those types of strategies. Harvest is now live and was created to help open that door to a new generation of investors who want their money managed in a way that aligns with their faith. In many ways, the platform functions similarly to automated investing platforms like Wealthfront or Betterment, but the investment portfolios are specifically constructed around faith-aligned principles.
The idea for Harvest actually began years ago through conversations with Kurt Cornfield, who teaches financial planning at Liberty University. Kurt would often talk about how interesting it would be if someone built a truly Christian robo-advisor—an automated platform that could help believers invest in alignment with biblical values. At the time it was more of a thought experiment, but the idea stayed with me while I spent several years working in financial services and fintech.

In 2023 I reached back out to Kurt and asked if he still believed the idea was worth pursuing. After talking through it together, he encouraged me to take the lead and build it. That conversation eventually turned into a partnership and the beginning of Harvest. From there, what started as a simple idea began to grow as God opened doors and brought the right people into the story.
In 2025 I stepped away from my job to work on Harvest full time. Since then, the journey has been incredibly humbling. God allowed us to participate in the Liberty University accelerator, and we’ve also had opportunities to share the vision for Harvest in places like the Lion’s Den event in Birmingham. Along the way we’ve built the platform itself, with the mobile app currently in development as we continue expanding the experience.
If there’s one thing this journey has made clear, it’s that God deserves all the glory. He planted the desire to build something like Harvest, guided the process, and reminded us along the way of a simple truth that sits at the center of our message: God owns it all. Our goal is simply to steward this opportunity faithfully and build something that helps Christians invest wisely and remain faithful stewards of what He has entrusted to them.
