Biography

Dr. Rod Dempsey is a Professor of Educational Ministries at Liberty University's Rawlings School of Divinity as well as an Associate Pastor at Thomas Road Baptist Church. Dr. Dempsey served as a church planter, Christian Education Pastor, Membership Pastor, Small Group Pastor, and Elder prior to coming to Lynchburg in 2003. Dr. Dempsey met his wife, Patti, while attending Liberty University and they have two sons, one daughter-in-law, and five grandchildren. His passion is to multiply multipliers to reach the world for God's glory.
