Campus Community | Dr. Emerson Eggerichs
Overview:
Tonight we had the privilege to hear from Dr. Emerson Eggerichs in an extension of his Convocation message that we heard this morning. We all desire to be in healthy and loving relationships. Dr. Eggerichs spoke into how “the issue is never the killer” and how sometimes the division we experience in relationships is from misrepresentation or misinterpretation. God calls us to love Him and to love others. As we seek to show God love and reverence, we can display that honor in our relationships with others through love and respect. Dr. Eggerichs expanded on how we often misrepresent and misinterpret in our relationships but he ends with the freeing truth that “my response is my responsibility.” As we pursue healthy relationships, are we going to seek to fulfill the call to love in a way that honors and respects them?
