Liberty No. 2 for undergraduate enrollment

In a recent Forbes article, Liberty University came in at No. 2 on a list of American universities with the largest undergraduate enrollment for Fall 2014. Citing a U.S. News report, Forbes listed Liberty’s undergraduate enrollment at 49,744, behind only the University of Central Florida and just ahead of Texas A&M.
More than 4,000 new undergraduate students were welcomed to Liberty’s campus this fall, contributing to a residential population of 14,500 for the first time in school history. Liberty has more than 95,000 students taking courses online from all over the world. Liberty remains the largest private, nonprofit university in the nation, the largest university in Virginia, and the largest Christian university in the world.
