Beyond Barriers Summer Program… Making the Impossible Possible

The Beyond Barriers Summer Transition Program is an immersive 10-day orientation program designed to help students with documented disabilities make a smooth transition to Liberty University.
Students will move in early to their fall dorm assignment, dine in the new dining hall, complete UNIV 101 (1-credit course), and connect with fellow students in a variety of engaging activities.
Sessions will include introductions to key services and departments across the university, group outings to get familiar with the campus, and interactive training to improve self-regulation and self-determination.
“Before this program existed, college felt impossible…I kept putting off college because I was afraid…God has used this program to help me to do something that felt impossible, and I cannot describe how grateful I am for that blessing and those who provided it.”
