At Liberty, we believe that when Faith Leads, Integrity Follows. Maintaining a culture of integrity is a shared responsibility, and we encourage you to speak up if you experience or observe conduct that may be unethical, illegal, or inconsistent with university policies. Whenever possible, concerns should be raised with the appropriate supervisor or university leadership. If you are uncomfortable reporting through those channels, Liberty also provides a confidential and anonymous reporting portal where concerns can be submitted.
Liberty University’s Whistleblower Policy exists to promote an environment that is free from wrongful conduct.
All members of the university community, including students and employees, are encouraged, acting in good faith, to report suspected wrongful conduct, such as fraud, waste, misconduct, or abuse of LU assets.
All covered persons under the policy shall not be subject to retaliation for making a report in good faith about potential or actual wrongful conduct by others or participating in an investigation in good faith, whether the report is specifically under this policy or not.
Note: The online portal is operated by an outside third-party vendor trusted by many other institutions of higher education to ensure confidentiality and to enable anonymous reporting if the reporter so desires.
