3. What facts are known, and what assumptions need verification?
4. Who is affected by this decision?
5. What university policies may apply to the situation (Liberty Way, Whistleblower, Faculty/Employee handbook, Title IX, Clery, etc.)?
6. Are there any legal obligations, implications, or rights involved?
7. Is the issue academic, interpersonal, spiritual, and/or professional?

1. Have I prayerfully sought wisdom from God?
2. Have I asked the Holy Spirit for clarity and humility?
3. Does the Bible speak directly to the issue?
4. Does it honor Jesus and uphold biblical authority?
5. Does this action reflect love, justice, truth, and holiness?

1. Does the action support Liberty’s purpose of developing Christ-centered leaders?
2. Does the action reflect the core commitments and heart of the Liberty Way?

3. Will this decision advance the mission of Training Champions for Christ?
4. Does it align with Liberty’s Business Code of Conduct?

1. How will my choice affect the LU community and witness?
2. Will this action harm or build up others?
3. Does it promote unity, respect, and love within the community?
4. Does it reflect the inherent civility of all people as image-bearers of God?

1. Have I consulted biblically grounded and LU-aligned mentors?
2. Consider guidance from:
   • Supervisors or faculty who model Christian leadership
   • Pastors, Shepherds, or spiritual advisors
   • Chaplains
   • Office of Ethics & Compliance
   • Trusted colleagues who demonstrate Christian character with evidence of the fruit of the Spirit

1. Am I acting with honesty, integrity, and respect?
2. Are my motives selfish or Christ-centered?
3. Does this decision honor the dignity of others as image-bearers of God?
4. Would I be at peace if this decision became public?

Before moving forward, ensure that the decision:
