The Liberty University Office of Institutional Compliance supports the university’s mission by helping ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations. The Compliance Program provides support and resources to:
- Identify compliance risks
- Monitor regulatory obligations
- Support policy development
- Maintain reporting platforms
The program also serves as a central resource for understanding and implementing external requirements, helping the university meet its obligations and protect its mission and integrity.

Foundation of Liberty’s Compliance Program
The U.S. Department of Justice’s Seven Elements of an Effective Compliance Program provides a framework for promoting ethical conduct, preventing misconduct, and ensuring organizations comply with applicable laws and regulations.
