Palsgrove’s Points

It’s finally over. After the time I spent covering the NFL draft for the last four months, watching hours of film and sitting through three days of actual selections, the NFL draft has finally come to a close. In my last column of the school year, I’ll be breaking down three teams that I think had good weekends and three […]

Palsgrove’s Points

Welcome back to another week of Palsgrove’s Points. This week we’re covering the first round of the NBA Playoffs and who I think will come out on top of each of the eight series, and I’ll be pairing that prediction with each team’s Achilles’ heel or what might cost them the series. Also, if you’d like, you can turn past […]

Palsgrove’s Points

Welcome back, y’all. In last week’s issue, I wrote about how the transfer portal has messed with the Flames roster; if you want to read that, you can either grab a copy of Issue 8 or read online. This week, we’re going to continue that conversation about how the Flames’ roster is being shaken up as we head into the […]

The NFL Combine is freaking weird. Imagine you’re about to leave college and you need a job, so you are asked to attend a career fair with 32 potential employers who all want to interview you, allow the American media to interview you and have their team’s doctors give you a complete medical evaluation where they actively look for anything […]

Here’s how this is going to work — the playoffs are coming up quickly for all five (!!!) of Liberty University’s hockey teams, and I want to give them all an honest appraisal of their chances going into the tournament. For simplicity’s sake, I’m going to assign each team their own odds as if I were a sports book. I […]

Man, that was rough. I’m writing this with the stink of that game (if you can even call it that) radiating off me in waves after watching three hours of that hot garbage that Adam Silver wants me to call the NBA All-Star Game. The two teams combined took the most threes and scored the most points in All-Star history, […]

The Senior Bowl has officially wrapped up down in Mobile, which means we are officially entering the greatest season of all. No, not the holiday season, deer season or any of the four actual seasons.
