CARE Team
The CARE Team (Collaborate, Assess, Resource, Empower) promotes the safety and well-being of the university community. The CARE Team reviews concerning behaviors over time and identifies patterns, trends, and disturbances in individual behavior. Our group of dedicated professionals assesses the needs of students with concerning behavior(s) in order to provide resources to empower students for holistic success.
Our multidisciplinary team consists of trained individuals from the following departments:
- CARE and Support
- College of Applied Studies and Academic Success
- Counseling and Psychological Services
- Dean of Students
- Liberty University Police Department
- LU Shepherd
- Office of Community Life
- Office of Disability Accommodation Support
- Office of Residence Life
- Office of Student Life
You are expected to notify LUPD at (434) 592-3911 if you observe or become aware of immediately threatening or concerning behaviors.
