When you’re 9 it feels impossible to fall asleep on Christmas Eve. After a final day of wrapping gifts, a candlelit Christmas Eve service, and your mom trying to make a family sized prime rib only to discover it takes 2 more hours than she anticipated, you are ready for Christmas. But then the impossible is asked of you… it’s time to fall asleep. You need to put aside the excitement of Christmas morning, the wondering of whether the Razor Scooter or Barbie Dream House is under the tree, the thoughts of what candy will be in your stocking, all of it. You finally close your eyes and drift off, knowing that the next time you wake up it will be Christmas morning. When you wake up and walk down the stairs for the first time, you will see the culmination of months of work from your parents, and in that one moment, its perfect. The magic of Christmas morning is the heart of this year’s Christmas Coffeehouse: Under the Tree. Join us at 11:30 PM on December 6th for our favorite tradition of the year!

Only one reservation per group allowed.
Acts who get into the show must have their full group available for soundcheck on December 6th (all day).
In the past we have showcased pictures of bands practicing for Coffeehouse, so we encourage all acts to take photos while they practice for their tryouts.
We hope that you understand that while dozens of talented acts audition for Coffeehouse, we can only include so many in the show. That being said there are things you can do in order to increase your chances to be in Coffeehouse:
- Infuse your performance with a lot of energy. While we always include a few ballads or slow songs, this show starts at 11:30 PM. The inclusion of a drummer or upbeat song is always appreciated.
- Diversify your performance with something unique. Dancing, acappella, and fun instruments like banjos, brass instruments, etc. can really help set you apart.
- Be intentional about your song choice. Try to identify your bands strengths and pick a song that fits your abilities.
- Rehearse rehearse rehearse.
- Not all acts need to be bands. We always love to see a well put together magic act, comedy routine, musical theater performance, or tap dancing.
