LU Public Service Notification

While Instructure has provided notice that Canvas services have been restored following a cybersecurity incident, out of an abundance of caution, Liberty University is taking additional steps to ensure a secure environment.  We are working as quickly as possible to restore services on our side.

We understand the impact this disruption may have had, and we remain committed to supporting students and instructors. Guidance regarding academic flexibility will be shared as needed through official university channels.

Effective immediately, you will experience Multi-factor Authentication changes as the university works to enhance internal security measures around this incident. This is an added layer of security; we have no reason to believe any Liberty University authentication accounts were touched in the Canvas breach.
