Global Focus Week – Vendor Information
What is Global Focus Week?
Global Focus Week (GFW) is an annual event aimed at raising global awareness among Liberty University students, faculty, and staff. Throughout GFW students will have the opportunity to hear from globally influential Convocation guests, connect with global workers, experience a variety of cultures, and participate in interactive events.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in – Sunday, September 21st, 2:00-5:00 PM
If you would like help with your tabling supplies, you can park outside DeMoss (please reference the campus map) while you unload your supplies. Our student workers and volunteers will be ready to help you with bins to load and take your supplies to your tabling location.
After you unload your supplies, please park your car at one of the designated areas on the campus map. Once you have parked, our team will lead you to the check-in table inside Demoss and then take you to your tabling location.
Check-out – Friday, September 26th, 5:00 PM
After check-out, you can pull your car into the same DeMoss parking lot. We will have a student worker/volunteer on-site to help load your vehicle as needed. Please make sure to alert our team for this check-out service if desired.
If you spoke in a classroom, we ask that you email your classroom speaking logs to LU Serve at serveevents@liberty.edu.

More information coming soon!
Tabling Materials
Each organization will be provided with an 8-foot table, tablecloth wrap, and a chair for each registered representative. Please do not bring oversized large attractional signs, banners, balloon arches, etc. Only bring banners and information about your organization that will fit comfortably into your space. Small candy and/or promotional items are allowed. Please be mindful of valuable items and remove them before leaving your space at the end of each day.
GFW Meal Cards
GFW Meal Cards will be provided to all registered representatives. These Meal Cards will be loaded with $100.00 “Flames Cash.” You can use these cards anywhere on campus as well as a few off-campus locations. Using this card will enable you to eat at a variety of locations at a discounted price. At the end of the week (Friday at 5:00 PM) ALL remaining monies will be retracted from these cards. Let us know if you have any trouble with the use of these cards. Food options available are linked below. Due to logistical constraints, no GFW meal cards will be provided to any representatives who seek to register past the registration deadline – including the day-of.

Convocation/Campus Community
We highly recommend attending Convocation and Campus Community, our weekly gatherings. Campus Community is a college-aged service with God-honoring worship and biblically sound teaching. And Convocation is the largest weekly gathering of young people in the world where world leaders come to Liberty to challenge and inspire our student body to be Champions for Christ in all areas of the world. We will be providing VIP seating for you and your representatives, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Wednesday, September 24th – Convocation: 10:30 – 11:30 AM in Vines Center
Wednesday, September 24th – Campus Community: 7:00 – 8:30 PM in Vines Center
Friday, September 26th – Convocation: 10:30 – 11:30 AM in Vines Center
Speaking in a Class
We have notified the academic departments at Liberty that you are coming. They are aware that you will be reaching out to them to schedule possible classroom speaking engagements. We recommend that you connect with these departments and professors to see what opportunities might be available to you. A list of academic departments and their corresponding contact information will be provided to you in email correspondences from LU Serve. Please reach out to each one individually and not through a mass email blast. This will increase the chances of your message(s) being read and answered.
Speaking on Halls
This is a great opportunity where you will attend a Residential hall meeting during their weekly meeting after Campus Community on Wednesday, September 24th. This is a time to share your heart and mission behind what you do and why students should get involved with your organization. To do this efficiently, we encourage you to meet with the Resident Shepherd (RS) before/after Campus Community that evening. Campus Community is a college-aged service with God-honoring worship and biblically sound teaching.
Parking on Campus
You will NOT need to print out a hard copy of a parking pass, as we have moved to a digital system this year. Please click the following link and follow the instructions:
https://www.liberty.edu/police/parking/visitor-parking/
Please reference this campus map for parking:
– Global Focus Week Parking Map
– The Arrows point to where you can park.
– The Circle is where you will check in and be tabling.
We recommend getting to campus early each morning to ensure a parking spot, as parking can be difficult.
– Vehicles must display a valid, state-issued, disabled parking pass when parking in a space marked for disabled/handicapped parking.
– You are required to park the vehicle in a marked parking space (between two lines).
– Vehicles outside of a marked parking space are subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
– THE CAMPUS-WIDE SPEED LIMIT IS 15 MPH UNLESS OTHERWISE POSTED.
– Vehicles parked in such a way as to cause a vehicular or pedestrian hazard will be towed at the owner’s expense.
