LU Send NOW
About LU Send Now
LU Send Now’s vision is to train up the next generation to be champions for Christ in the field of disaster and crisis response providing humanitarian, spiritual, and psychological aid. Through physical labor and trauma ministry, our mission is to both be the hands and feet of Jesus and minister to the head and heart of those affected.
At Liberty, we believe in the incredible power of God to move through us when our state of readiness intersects with someone else’s urgent need. This initiative is the University’s quick response team for urgent disaster relief and crisis response. If you want to be ready to respond in tangible ways and trained in trauma ministry, we’d love for you to join our team whether down the street or on the other side of the world.
How We Serve
The Hands & Feet Domestic Team assists in humanitarian aid by offering clean up, rebuild, and other physical needs after a domestic disaster.
The Hands & Feet Domestic & International Team assists in global humanitarian aid by offering clean up, rebuild, and other physical needs after an international disaster.
The Head & Heart Team shares hope in despair by ministering to those psychologically and spiritually affected by traumatic disasters or crises.

The ongoing success of Send Now is largely due to the gifts and contributions of those who donate to the initiative.
