CSER Expo Vendor Information
CSER Expo | Wednesday, August 27th & Thursday, August 28th, 2025
We are excited to welcome your organization on campus for the CSER Expo this fall! CSER Expo is an annual event aimed to inspire, inform, and connect students, faculty, and staff with opportunities to serve others in the Lynchburg community through their passions, talents, and academics. Students, faculty, and staff will have the opportunity to hear from local practitioners, experience community engagement, and learn how they can serve alongside local organizations.
At this event, LU Serve has created strategic promotional opportunities for students to engage with your local organization or church through these different avenues:
– Tabling in the high-volume areas of LU’s campus
– Expo Interactive Experiences
– Access to connect with students and promote opportunities
– Access to Faculty and Staff for Experiential Education collaboration with Service- Learning and CSER Course-Pathing
General Information
CSER Expo spans two days, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM each day. Organizations may select one day to register and attend.
The cost to attend is $75 and includes two representatives from your organization.
In addition to tabling at CSER Expo, students will be able to interact with your organization and service opportunities on an experiential level. LU Serve will be hosting select and fun pop-up-style experiences for students to engage while thinking about ways they can serve in the Lynchburg area. Throughout the Expo, you can work with LU Serve to set up meetings with faculty and staff of Academic departments.

Schedule
Check-In and Setup: 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM
* New this year! Connect LYH Breakfast: 8:00 AM – 8:50 AM // A relaxed and dedicated time to connect with other local organizations, key department faculty, and LU Serve staff!
Expo Tabling: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Convocation: 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM (Wednesday Only)
Lunch/Snack Cart: Lunch will be delivered from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM // A snack cart will be going around mid-morning and mid-afternoon
Local Lynchburg Pop-Up Expo Experiences: 12:00 PM – 2:00/3:00 PM (outside on the Montview Lawn)
Check-Out: 4:00 PM
Breakfast
Join our LU Serve Team and key Liberty faculty and staff for our newest and highly-anticipated special Expo Networking Breakfast. Our breakfast will include hot breakfast items, delicious pastries, and a hot/iced coffee bar to kick off the official start of CSER Expo activities. We aim to connect you with other key contacts and organizations in the greater Lynchburg area so you can share ideas and collaborate on service opportunities to engage better and reach our LU student body. All registered Expo attendees are encouraged to attend, and there is no additional charge for attending with a paid registration.
Key Features:
– Develop a better understanding of what other local partners are doing with LU students to offer creative service opportunities.
– Take steps forward in your efforts to collaborate with key community organizations and churches.
– Build a strong network of key department faculty and staff that offer high-impact leadership to students.
– Fill your tank with a delicious breakfast and start your day.
* This event is for local Lynchburg organizations only.
* Space is limited, so register early.
Tabling
Each organization will be provided with an 8-foot table, tablecloth wrap, and two chairs inside Montview Hall. Please do not bring oversized large attractional signs, banners, balloon arches, etc. Only bring banners and information about your organization that will fit comfortably into your space. Small candy and/or promotional items are allowed.
Speaking in Classrooms
As an Expo vendor, you will have the chance to be directly in front of students in the classroom, where you can communicate your vision, share student success stories, and expand on the next steps that could align their future with your organization’s mission. As we get closer to CSER Expo 2025, we will notify different academic departments at Liberty that you are coming. A list of academic departments and their corresponding contact information will be provided to our vendor organizations in email correspondence from LU Serve.
Please note:
– You are responsible for reaching out to professors individually to try and schedule a time to speak to their class to share about your organization’s opportunities to serve.
– You must email the individual faculty according to your organization’s goals and focuses. You may NOT send mass emails.
Parking
Please follow the digital parking pass instructions in the link below. You must have a parking pass to park on campus. Towing is enforced.
Parking will be VERY crowded on this day, so we highly recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes early. We recommend parking in the Speakman Lot or The Academic Garage. Please reference the following PARKING MAP for details on where to park and how it relates to the Montview/Demoss Hall.
Check-In
Check-in will be from 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM. If you would like help with your tabling supplies, you can temporarily park outside DeMoss Hall while you unload your supplies. Don’t forget to put your flashers on. You can reference the PARKING MAP for details on where to park and how it relates to the Montview/Demoss Hall. After you unload your supplies, please park your car after filling out your parking pass. Our student workers and volunteers will be ready to help you with bins to load and take your supplies to Check-in at the LU Serve table in the back of Demoss Hall, and then to your tabling location.
Check-Out
CSER Expo ends at 4:00 PM. You can pull your car into the same DeMoss parking lot at the end of tabling, and we will have a student worker/volunteer on-site to help you load your vehicle as needed. Please make sure to alert our team for this check-out service if desired.
Internet Access
You will be provided internet access upon arrival at check-in.
