World Religion Traveler Guides
Want to Make a Global Impact? Start by Understanding the World.
At LU Serve, we believe living on mission means more than just traveling—it means connecting with people from all walks of life and faith backgrounds through the love of Jesus Christ. Every year, Liberty students and staff head out across the globe, encountering cultures shaped by diverse religions. But before stepping on the plane, we believe it’s important to be equipped.
That’s where our Traveler Guides come in.
Whether you’re going on an LU Send trip or just want to learn more about the world, these guides break down the essentials of major world religions—including their history, beliefs, and cultural impact—plus tips on how to engage respectfully and share your faith with confidence.
Here’s what you’ll find in each guide:
• A breakdown of each religion’s origins, global reach, and key facts
• Core beliefs, practices, and customs explained
• Real-world insight on how to connect and share the gospel in meaningful ways
Not traveling this semester? No problem.
You can still explore the Traveler Guides using the links below or swing by the LU Serve Office (Dorm 20, The Hill) to pick up a hard copy (just email us first or stop by to see what’s available).
Want to go even deeper? We also host interactive workshops throughout the year focused on world religions and cross-cultural ministry.
