Summer programs with ELIC are designed to impact both the participant teachers and their students through the shared experience of conversational English. Even if you’ve never taught before, we provide training and coaching to ensure you can step into the classroom with confidence from day one.

Many students in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Vietnam are eager to learn English, but they need more opportunities to practice with native speakers. That’s where you come in.

ELIC’s summer programs give you the chance to make a real impact—both in the lives of students and in your own. Even if you’ve never taught before, we’ll equip you with training, coaching, and ongoing support so you can confidently step into the classroom from day one.

Along the way, you’ll explore a rich culture, build friendships with K-12 students and local teachers, and see how one month of service connects with our long-term vision in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, or Vietnam. Orientation and debrief ensure you’re prepared, cared for, and able to make the most of your experience.
