Jennings, who was drafted in the seventh round by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2009, signed as a free agent with the Oakland Raiders last spring. This season he rushed for a career-best 733 yards and six touchdowns and made 36 receptions for 292 yards. Jennings also blocked two punts early in the season.
At Liberty, Jennings scored a program-record 42 rushing touchdowns and racked up 3,633 career rushing yards (third most in program history) in three seasons (2006-08). He was selected Big South Conference Offensive Player of the Year twice. As a senior, Jennings was a finalist for the Walter Payton Award.
