Liberty University’s Freedom Tower was lit up in flashing red lights on Tuesday night in honor of healthcare workers in Central Virginia and around the world who are being called into action to care for patients and help in the fight against COVID-19.
The light show will continue nightly from 8 to 8:15 p.m.
As an institution that trains many physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, Liberty University knows the resilience that these tough jobs require. Liberty extends its gratitude to those who are on the front lines of this crisis, putting in long hours away from their own families to take care of others’ loved ones. The Liberty family is asked to remain in prayer for these champions of our communities.
The 275-foot, 17-story Freedom Tower opened in 2018 and houses the John W. Rawlings School of Divinity.
