Liberty University will welcome Christian apologist and author Alex McFarland, as well as American financier and political figure Anthony Scaramucci, to the Convocation stage next week.
On Monday, Oct. 30, McFarland will speak about the everyday challenges Christians face and how these challenges can be overcome. McFarland is the author of 16 books, including the best-selling “The 10 Most Common Objections to Christianity.” He is also the host of the nationally syndicated radio show “SoundRezn.”
Scaramucci will address the student body on Wednesday, Nov. 1. He will share his story about life in the political limelight and about his career as an investment banker.
The Convocation speaker for Friday, Nov. 3, will be announced in the next few days.
As previously announced, this week Liberty students will hear from CEO and president of Eastman & Beaudine Bob Beaudine on Wednesday, followed by former “The Bachelor” and “Bachelor in Paradise” contestant Christen Whitney on Friday.
An upcoming 10-day Convocation schedule is released each Monday.
