How to Apply: High School Students
High School Students
You must have been admitted or concurrently in the process of applying to Liberty University in order to be accepted into Honors Scholars. Additionally, you must have an official, up-to-date high school transcript submitted to Residential Undergraduate Admissions for the Honors Scholars to evaluate your application. Admission to Liberty University’s Honors Scholars is competitive, and enrollment is limited.
Like most colleges, we require applicants to send official score reports directly from the College Board. Qualifying scores must be available by review date or by March 1. You should have already requested that your scores be sent to Liberty by the College Board. Once LU receives your scores, processing could take a week. If you plan to retake, simply apply using your current score and email us to update your application. We will accept your superscore. If you took the ACT or SAT more than one time, we will look at your highest individual test scores and calculate a new, super composite score from across your test dates.
Drop off your materials at the Honors Scholars Office in the Jerry Falwell Library, Room 364 or mail your materials in a single envelope the following address. We welcome applications from all over the world. Those in other countries with unreliable mail service can email applications to honorsprogram@liberty.edu .
