Spring 2027 Academic Production Schedule

Theatre Arts Academic Requirements

• All Freshman and Sophomore BFA majors are required to complete an academic audition and a production interview.
• All Junior and Senior BFA majors are required to complete an academic audition, with the option to interview. Headshots and resumes are also required for auditions for all BFA’s.
• All BA/BS Theatre Arts students are required to complete a production interview, with the option of an audition.
• Theatre minors and INDS in Fine Arts students are not required to complete an audition or production interview beyond the requirements of their DCP, but are welcome to do so.
• You must have at least a 2.0 GPA to be in a production.

Dance Academic Requirements

• All Freshman and Sophomore Dance majors are required to complete a dance concert audition and a production interview. 
• All Junior and Senior Dance majors are required to complete a dance concert audition, with the option to interview. 
• Dance minors and INDS in Fine Arts students are not required to complete an audition or production interview beyond the requirements of their DCP, but are welcome to do so.
• You must have at least a 2.0 GPA to be in a production.

Auditions for the Spring 2027 academic shows will be held on Friday, January 15, 2027, from 6 p.m.-9:30 p.m. You must fill out and submit your audition form by January 2, 2027. QR codes for auditions and interviews will be available soon. Please arrive 10 minutes before your start time to the Black Box Theater lobby. Audition Schedule By Last Name

A-G: 6 p.m.-7 p.m.

H-N: 7 p.m.-8 p.m.

O-S: 8 p.m.-9 p.m.

T-Z: 9 p.m.-9:30 p.m.

Audition Requirements

• 30-second comedic monologue–remember that monologues need to come from a published play; no books or movies.
• 16 Bars of any song from the 1920’s era

Production Interviews for Spring 2027 Shows

Production interviews for the Spring 2027 academic shows will be held on Friday, January 15, 2027, from 6 p.m.-9:30 p.m. Production interviews are drop-in. You must fill out and submit your interview form by January 2, 2027. QR codes for auditions and interviews will be available soon.
