Biography

Captain Jason T. Cole is an Intelligence Officer assigned as Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at Liberty University,
Virginia. His duties include Recruiting Officer and Education Officer, overseeing Detachment outreach events and ensuring fellow AFROTC cadre maintain their instructor proficiency. Prior to his current role, Captain Cole enlisted in February 2004 and began his Air Force career at Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. During his 15 years of enlisted service, Captain Cole held positions of increasing responsibility within the Cryptologic Language Analyst career field while stationed at Osan Air Base, Fort George G. Meade, Bolling Air Force Base, and Langley Air Force Base, and a deployment to the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, ultimately attaining the rank of Master Sergeant.

In 2019, he was selected for Total Force Officer Training and was a member of the pilot offering of the Accelerated Commissioning Program, a developmental program that aimed to train and commission Senior NCOs as Second Lieutenants in three weeks, in August that year. As an officer, Captain Cole also served as Deputy Chief Analysis Division of the Department of War Defense Cyber Command, Branch Chief for Intelligence Plans with Joint Force Headquarters-DoD Information Network, and as the Acquisition Intelligence Analyst supporting the Aerial Networks Division of Program Executive Office C3I&N at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts.
