Here at Student Activities, entertainment means a lot to us – it’s the backbone of our department, the basis for most of our events.

With summer 2017 involving the releases of diverse music, movies and books, we want to keep you posted with what we’ve been listening to, watching and reading. For example, we’ll see music releases from Paramore’s revival album “After Laughter” to Alt-J’s third studio album “Relaxer”. Lorde will finally release her long-awaited album “Melodrama” on June 16^th. When it comes to movies, “Despicable Me 3” will be released on June 30^th, allowing all the little kids (and everyone, really) in your life to start talking about minions all over again. These pieces of our culture will be reviewed/discussed right here, on your very own Student Activities blog. Our reviews will not necessarily be critical – they’ll simply tell you what we’ve pulled from these new pieces of art that we want to share – but they will always, always be deeply researched.
