Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA)

The Liberty University Emergency Communications Center (LUECC) within the Department of Emergency Management & Community Engagement (EMCE) has achieved international accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. (CALEA). The LUECC voluntarily adheres to 210 professional standards in policies and procedures, administration, operations, and support services. The rigorous review process is designed to demonstrate the department’s commitment to excellence and adherence to the highest standards in public safety communications.
