LU Public Service Notification

Due to a large traffic accident on Wards Rd., the Lynchburg Police Department has closed both directions of travel between the intersection of the tunnel (Wards Rd./Liberty University Dr.) and the mall entrance (Wards Rd./Glass Avenue). The 3000 block of Wards Rd., including several traffic lights, have been affected by this accident. All traffic lights that are not operational should be treated as a four-way stop until power is restored. Avoid the area, if possible.
