LU Public Service Notification

The Lynchburg Police Department has made LUPD aware of an escaped inmate out of Amherst County. The suspect is described as a white male, 5’8” 200lbs, face and head tattoos, clean shaven, last seen wearing a blue shirt and shorts. Subject was possibly seen at Sheetz on Wards Rd adjacent to campus. While there is no indication this individual is making their way to campus, the LU community should remain vigilant. If seen, do not approach but call the LUECC at 434-592-3911 or 911.
