Mission Trips: Students International

Students International is passionate about seeing students and the poor transformed into the likeness of Christ and discover their true calling. We’re focused on meeting the holistic needs of people in vulnerable communities in Latin America. Our full-time staff lead ministry sites to serve those in need year round. Students serve on youth short term missions alongside SI missionaries and make a real difference in the lives of people we serve. Students International leads short-term missions that ‘help without hurting’. That’s why every SI student joins a full-time missionary who works year-round sharing Christ through vocational ministry. We love seeing God transforming the lives of students AND communities in need.

Trip Lengths and Cost

Students International has uniquely structured 8-9 Day Trips and 12-13+ Day mission trips. Schedule and cost structures for each trip length are as follows:

8-9 Day Trips ($1,095 + Airfare & Travel Expenses)
Saturday: Travel to Country
Sunday: Orientation, Infield Training, Cultural Instruction, and Church
Monday – Friday: Students ministering at their ministry sites
Saturday: Excursions to see different aspects of the country and culture
Sunday: Return Home

12-13+ Day Trips ($1,495 + Airfare & Travel Expenses)
Monday: Travel to Country
Tuesday: Orientation, Infield Training, Cultural Instruction
Wednesday – Friday: Students ministering at their ministry sites
Saturday: Excursions to see different aspects of the country and culture
Sunday: Church and Rest
Monday – Friday: Students ministering at their ministry sites
Saturday: Return Home

What Will You Be Doing?

You’ll have a hands-on missions experience serving real needs through the ministry site of your choice. Each day you’ll head out first thing in the morning to meet up with your site leader on the field. Every day, and every site is a unique experience. You’ll have siesta in the middle of the day, then join the rest of your team for dinner and an evening activity.
