Liberty University ranked No. 3 for undergrad enrollment nationwide

The U.S. News & World Report Short List has ranked Liberty University the third-highest college in the nation for total undergraduate student enrollment.
Liberty had 47,460 undergraduates registered for the Fall 2013 semester, exceeding the enrollment counts of schools such as Texas A&M University, Ohio State University, and Pennsylvania State University.
Liberty, which builds its financial model on fiscal responsibility and stewardship, was the only nonprofit private school to make the list.
Total enrollment at Liberty in all formats and levels of study exceeds 100,000, representing all 50 states and 90 countries studying in over 450 programs of study.
The Short List, which provides specific college rankings on key data points to help parents and students compare schools, surveyed nearly 1,800 colleges and universities.
