NCAA.com lists Liberty’s baseball, softball stadiums among nation’s best

Liberty University’s baseball and softball stadiums, completed in 2013 and 2015, respectively, have both been included on the list of “7 Must-Visit Stadiums” compiled by NCAA.com and posted on its website this week.
Liberty, which competes in the Big South Conference, is the only school in the nation to be included on both lists.
The Liberty Baseball Stadium is joined by South Carolina’s Founders Park, Nebraska’s Haymarket Park, Texas’ UFCU Disch-Falk Field, Florida’s McKethan Stadium, UCLA’s Jackie Robinson Stadium, and Clemson’s Doug Kingsmore Stadium on the college baseball stadium list.
Kamphius Field at Liberty Softball Stadium was featured among the seven facilities highlighted on Tuesday along with LSU’s Tiger Park, Louisiana’s Lamson Park, Notre Dame’s Melissa Cook Stadium, Arizona State’s Alberta B. Farrington Stadium, Alabama’s Rhoades Stadium, and Oregon’s Jane Sanders Stadium.

In each of the past three seasons, Stadium Journey Magazine has ranked Liberty Baseball Stadium among the top five collegiate baseball stadium experiences in the country and last year it was ranked among the Top 25 stadiums in the country by D1baseball.com.
In January, through a fan vote conducted by FloSoftball.com, Liberty Softball Stadium was rated at No. 6 in the nation on a Top 25 NCAA Division I Softball Stadium list. Last year, it was ranked second on FloSoftball.com’s list of the top three college softball stadiums in America.
