Liberty Athletics and K-LOVE, Inc. join forces to advance the Gospel through their national and global platforms

Liberty Athletics announced on Tuesday that K-LOVE will become the program’s official jersey patch sponsor for the 2026-27 season.

Beginning this season, the K-LOVE logo will appear on 10 of Liberty Flames game day jerseys, marking the first jersey patch sponsorship in Liberty Athletics history.

“We are excited to partner with K-LOVE as our jersey patch sponsor,” said Vice President and Director of Athletics Ian McCaw. “This partnership is a natural fit, with K-LOVE and Liberty University sharing a strong missional alignment and a national reach. We are grateful to Tom Stultz and his leadership team for their support and collaboration and look forward to all that God will do through this shared mission.”

K-LOVE, Inc. is a nonprofit, multi-platform media company on a mission of inspiring people to move closer to Jesus. Founded in 1982 as Educational Media Foundation in Santa Rosa, Calif., with a single radio station, K-LOVE now owns and operates the world’s two largest Christian music radio networks: K-LOVE and Air1.

Liberty Athletics Trains Champions for Christ by providing a high-quality student-athlete experience and achieving victory with integrity in its intercollegiate athletics program.

Over the last three years, Liberty Athletics has experienced comprehensive success unlike any span of time in the 50-plus year history of the department.

Sixteen of Liberty’s 20 NCAA Division I athletics programs have won a regular season or tournament championship during the last three years, resulting in 36 total conference titles. Since moving to the NCAA Division I level in 1988, Liberty Athletics has captured over 300 conference championships.

“This initiative gives K-LOVE the opportunity to partner with a wonderful, well-respected Christian university and expose our brands to millions of fans through all live events, telecasts, and social media content,” said K-LOVE CEO Tom Stultz. “Teaming up with Liberty University will create exposure to engage with students and alumni and give us a new way to entertain our donors and listeners. We can’t wait to see how God will move others closer to Him through this new venture.”
