Liberty to hold 2026 CEO Summit Oct. 7-9 featuring prominent American business leaders

Liberty University will host its sixth annual CEO Summit Oct. 7-9, inviting an extensive network of CEOs, government leaders, innovators, and world-changers to join students, faculty, and staff in promoting one of the largest Christian business networks in the country.

CEOs are invited to visit Liberty’s campus, engage with students, and network with fellow Christian colleagues. Through these interactions, many firms connect with Liberty’s Career Services, building meaningful relationships that lead to student internships and job opportunities. Over half of the student volunteers who participate in the summit training and serve guest CEOs walk away with a job or internship offer.

In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, this year’s event will feature New York Times bestselling author Eric Metaxas as he unveils his newest book, “REVOLUTION: The Birth of the Greatest Nation in the History of the World.” Multiple sessions will center on the theme of “Made in America” with an emphasis on trades, manufacturing, and technological advancements shaping our world with artificial intelligence front and center.

Other featured speakers tentatively scheduled for the summit include former Ford head of Enthusiast Brand Management Dave Rivers; former Arlington, Texas, Mayor and Graham Associates President and CEO Jeff Williams; Poettker Construction CEO Keith Poetkker; MOOV founder and CEO Bob Smith; Morey CEO Ryne DeBoer; media personality James Dumoulin and the School of Hard Knocks; Safe House Project COO Brittany Dunn; and Applied Control CEO Tad Cahill. The leaders of several regional industries will also take part, including Southern Air President Paul Denham, Hurt & Proffitt President and CEO Bif Johnson, and Foster Fuels CEO Watt Foster. More keynote speakers and special guests will be announced in the coming months.

A number of Liberty faculty and staff will lend their expertise through panel discussions and presentations, including Liberty CIO John Gauger, School of Engineering Dean (and former BWXT Technologies President) Kenneth Camplin, Board of Trustees member David Rice, and Helms School of Government Associate Professors Tony Cothron and Scott Roenicke.

BWXT Technologies President and CEO Rex Geveden will deliver a keynote address at the Future CEO Luncheon, a unique opportunity for Liberty students to network and share a meal with several executives from Russell 3000 companies. Students will have the opportunity to expand their professional connections and explore potential internships and job opportunities.

Keynote dinners are offered to paid registrants, but Liberty students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend the panel sessions with their Flames Pass. Students wishing to complete an application to volunteer should email summits@liberty.edu.

Guests will also have the chance to tour campus and participate in exciting events, including a Flames Football matchup against CUSA foe Sam Houston State University and pregame tailgate on Oct. 8 and Convocations in the Vines Center on Oct. 7 and Oct. 9.

“Over the years, Liberty has attracted CEOs and government leaders from around the world that can move the needle for the Kingdom,” Senior Vice President of Business Relations Dr. Dave Brat said. “God is at work, but your agency is key. We need you to introduce us to major business leaders whose Christian voices will give confidence and courage to others as we rebuild America at 250 and beyond and as we grow business and opportunity and freedom for the next Champions for ChristPlease share this information with friends in your business networks. This is how we build the Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven.”
