Liberty announces completed 2026 football schedule

Liberty Football‘s 2026 schedule is now complete with Conference USA releasing the Flames’ eight conference games on Wednesday.

Last month, the Flames announced their four non-conference games, starting with the next addition of the Battle of the Blue Ridge against James Madison University in Harrisonburg on Sept. 9.

Liberty will then welcome Gardner-Webb (Sept. 12) and Ball State (Sept. 19) to Williams Stadium before playing a Thursday night game at Coastal Carolina (Sept. 24).

The Flames will begin their quest to capture their second Conference USA title with a Friday night game at Delaware (Oct. 2), followed by a Midweek on the Mountain game at home against Sam Houston on Thursday, Oct. 8.

Liberty will close out midweek action on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at defending Conference USA champion Kennesaw State.

Liberty’s annual Homecoming and Hall of Fame weekend is slated for Oct. 31 when the Flames welcome FIU to the Mountain.

The closing stretch of the 2026 regular season will include road games at New Mexico State (Nov. 7) and Missouri State (Nov. 28) and home contests against Middle Tennessee (Nov. 14) and Western Kentucky (Nov. 21).

The 2026 Conference USA Football Championship is slated to be contested at the site of the regular season champion on Dec. 4. The title game will once again be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
