Liberty University has announced its Spring 2016 Convocation schedule, which begins with a message from billionaire real estate investor turned presidential candidate Donald Trump on Jan. 18. Other guests include Chris Ruddy, CEO and president of Newsmax Media Inc. (March 2); Chris Broussard, ESPN sports analyst (Jan. 25); Francis Chan, author of “Crazy Love” and “Forgotten God” (Jan. 29); author and speaker Ann Voskamp (Feb. 10); NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Tim Brown (Feb. 22); and Pat Williams, senior vice president of the NBA’s Orlando Magic (April 15).
The schedule also includes a number of musical guests, including Grammy-nominated Christian recording artist Matt Maher (on April 15), as well as Shane & Shane (Feb. 24), Jesus Culture (March 21), Rend Collective (April 1), and Phil Wickham (April 27).
Liberty’s Convocation is the world’s largest regular gathering of Christian young people, taking place in the Vines Center two to three times a week during the academic year. The event features speakers of national significance from every sphere of society.
