New York Times best-selling novelist to speak at Jerry Falwell Library

Cindy WoodsmallThe Jerry Falwell Library will host a public talk and book signing with New York Times best-selling novelist Cindy Woodsmall on Thursday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m.

Woodsmall has written more than 15 Christian fiction Amish novels including, most recently, “A Love Undone.” She has been featured on ABC’s Nightline and on the front page of the Wall Street Journal, and has worked with National Geographic on a documentary concerning Amish life. In June 2013, the Wall Street Journal listed Woodsmall among the top three most popular authors of Amish fiction.

Woodsmall’s talk will focus on her journey to becoming an author of Amish fiction. Her novels will be available for sale at the free event, with Woodsmall signing copies immediately following her speech.

The Jerry Falwell Library, which officially opened in January, regularly hosts events and guest speakers.
