Liberty University has announced its Convocation schedule for the Fall 2014 semester. Liberty’s Convocation is the world’s largest weekly gathering of Christian young people. It is held three times a week in the Vines Center. Students are able to hear from prominent speakers of national/global significance from every sphere of society. Speakers challenge, motivate, and inspire students as they share their stories and impart wisdom from experience in their respective fields.
“We are thrilled to announce that this semester’s Convocation guests will include some of the more prominent voices on the planet today,” said David Nasser, senior vice president for Spiritual Development. “Leaders from all walks of life such as world renowned pastors, iconic sport figures, top tier comedians, Grammy Award-winners, political powerhouses, and American heroes will join forces to make much of God by sharing their captivating stories. We even have worship leader Chris Tomlin leading us for a very special CD release party. It’s going to be an amazing semester.”
Many Convocations can be viewed live on the Liberty Channel or online, as part of Liberty University Online Communities. Past events can be viewed online or on Liberty’s YouTube channel.
