Employees of the Month
Top Employees of May 2025

I first met Emma shortly before she graduated from Liberty as she was interviewing for the role she now serves in on OSD’s team with LU Serve. It was obvious in talking to her then that she was in many respects a kind of LU-poster child for spiritual development. Her own story of how she came to LU and grew in her faith encouraged me deeply. It’s not a crazy story or anything like that. It’s just a story of faithfulness and of a student’s willingness to say, “Yes,” to all the opportunities that were in front of her in terms of spiritual development. To have her now on our team is a tremendous blessing. I want her LU story to become other students’ story, and who better to help them do that than someone who did it so well. Furthermore, that success as a student has been mirrored by her success as a staff member. She has seamlessly integrated into the LU Serve team and added a tremendous amount of value in a short period of time.
-Josh Rutledge, Vice President of Spiritual Development
