I have really been struggling with this topic over the past few weeks and decided to Google it today. I am thankful for your thoughtful article, which has helped me think through my struggle.
Thank you to all of you who prayed! Our team of 20 touched and impacted over 1,000 patients. We saw God at work and made a difference. We thank you for being a part of our team through prayer. We felt your prayers and know God was very present with us.
I noticed the Scriptures you gave are only from the OT and taken entirely out of context and misapplied. Agreed, Christians should be good stewards over ALL that God has provided for us, but what did Jesus command us to do in “the Great Commision” and why do you ignore it? Which is our greater responsibilty, to save a fallen world with environmentalism, or to save souls with the gospel? The entire creation groans for the coming of Christ again and it has been decaying since man first rebelled against God and sin entered the world. Man lost the dominion given to him because of sin. THAT is what is more important. Environmentalist activism is man-made and is NOT a commandment or doctrine of the Bible. It detracts from the importance of man’s soul and focuses on nature instead. Scripture clearly indicates the world will exist and does not need man’s works to “protect” it. There is a time coming when there will be cataclysmic (super)natural destruction on the earth in judgement of the world’s sin. Our emphasis must be on winning souls that will become stewards of God’s blessings and worship the creator, not the creation.
Maybe, if non-believers saw us acting more like Jesus — welcoming strangers, helping the poor, and caring about the earth God gave us all to live on — they would be more open to the gospel.
Well from all I hear Mission accomplished Kailey shared her experience which left me breathless!! The learning, living, teaching and experiencing God’s love was in every word of her testimony!! May God continue to Bless you ALL both at Liberty and Africa!❤️❤️✝️✝️
What a wonderful uplifting article! I feel like I’ve known him for years! He has been an asset to Liberty and no one knew his contributions until this article and his faith and daily walk with God. I really enjoy reading Caroline Young’s articles
I go back from time to time looking at this to remind myself…of such wonderful people as Mr. And Mrs. Falwell..and now their children..who knew..? ..being their flower girl in their wedding…what an honor God blessed me with..Thank you zGod my Father
Thank you so much, Ms. Sturek, for recognizing the hard work of my students, their contribution to educational research, and most importantly, representing Liberty University and God’s Truth.

Words truly matter and reckless does not describe Gods love for us. I wholeheartedly agree with this article. I change the word reckless to amazing when our church sings this song. Blessings.
Hopefully this game with Kennesaw State will put Liberty back on the offense again and get their wheels turning. They need to win this game by about 30 and it would do great for the team.
Girls/women sports are under attack and need to be defended. Transgenders should have their own category to compete in because they are both male/female. Even if they nip n tuck, take hormones, they will always remain biologically male. They have a biological advantage in female sports. Transgender girls and women should not be permitted to compete against biological females, that’s my opinion.
Great review but the mistake that’s often made is calling “Lucy” slapstick. You could count on one hand a pie throwing episode or pratfalls as is the basis of slapstick. Chocolate factory and grape stomping and even vitametavegamin were really not slapstick; they were just brilliantly written scripts performed by arguably the greatest comic actor in the history of the medium.
As the deacon chair of One In Christ Church and an LU faculty member, I am grateful that The Champion is willing to introduce our church to the Liberty community.
Well. As a boomer, I must say: Weren’t we all that romantic and starry eyed about marriage and kids once? Then for a lot of us, reality bites. Let’s see how they feel about coupledom after 20 or so years of a mediocre-at-best marriage. Kids grow, and you look across the table and think: GET. ME. OUT. OF. HERE. Not for everyone, of course. But definitely for a bunch of us. Lousy marriage is a slow death. Perhaps they’ll do better- many have a better understanding of ‘toxic’ behavior than we did. I’m sure someone will comment that i’m the classic self-centered boomer. The “ME generation”. Grain of salt on this article. Kind of like asking young people about the best part of ‘being old’-they’re clueless.
Bitter notate. As a 64 year old boomer who came of age in the 70’s, influenced by the hippie generation of the 60’s and early seventies, many of us were lost, divorced, and clueless. I say amen to this traditionalism. I have seen it first hand and it encourages me. Praise God. I pray you find the joy of the Lord, in the midst of the everyday mundaness of life.
I saw your interview on the Leventhal Report and immediately thought of a Veterans organization called “Veterans Helping Veterans”. We have a local chapter in Spartanburg, SC. I don’t know if you’re familiar with them or have any contact with them. If not, you may want to reach out to them. One of their main objectives is suicide prevention. Thank you for helping our Veterans. Bob
I have the complete DVD set. All the eps were good except the ones at end of season 4 with the alien v alien showdown right before it was cancelled. They should have least made a movie to conclude it.
This video brings back many fond memories of serving on the first Liberty Champion staff. As a journalism student the Champion provided me valuable hands-on experience reporting and editing. I graduated in 1986 and went on to work at four newspapers in Indiana and North Carolina before leaving print journalism to pursue a career in public relations and marketing.
Thanks for posting this video, and thanks to professors like Ann Wharton and Richard “Dick” Bohrer, who taught me how to collect, write and edit news stories!
This is awesome and exciting news and I can’t wait for the airing to begin! My heartfelt respect, sympathy and prayers for Phil
and the Robertson clan as I can relate with two of my grandparents experiencing Dementia and Alzheimers. I have tried to keep up with the Robertson family by watching their podcasts on YouTube as well as watching the Duck Family Treasure show!
I saw the show and was truly excited to see the young men and women model. My grandson is Ronnie Gaymon and I was so excited to see him model for the first time that I could hardly keep my seat. I wish them all a very prosperous future.

Great Article!
Wow! Very informative and impressive lines. Exceptional work by the landscape lighting installers.
Great article! To God be the glory
I am glad to hear of CCM. I thought I was the only Catholic. I am glad to be with all of my brothers and sisters of many denominations.

Richmond wants people to pay for its screw up that they already paid for water service . Sure hope the counties sue Richmond !

Beautiful story
Fabulous article. Sounds like an amazing organization
Hah…just saw this.
I got to produce/record the theme song for this and a bunch of the character feature songs.
And I went to Liberty (in the EIGHTIES…yikes)!
