In 1991, Noel Brewer Yeatts’ father founded World Help Organization, of which Yeatts is now the Vice President. She is involved in the many facets of World Help, including being the director of Cause Life and former director of Humanitarian Aid.

As of 2010, World Help had planted over 74,000 churches around the world. According to their official website, World Help was founded on and is still committed to taking Bibles to hard-to-reach places. Not only is World Help committed to spiritual needs around the globe, but it is also devoted to the physical needs that they see. Over the years, World Help has shipped over 400 containers of medicines and disaster relief to those in need.

“As we compassionately respond, we earn the right to be heard…to share the hope of Jesus Christ with the lost,” Yeatts said on the World Help website.

Her passion for needs in other countries started at age 11, while she was on a short-term missions trip. To date, she has ministered in more than 12 countries, co-authored two books with her father and written a book of her own. Her new book, which came out June 2012, is called Awake: Doing a World of Good One Person at a Time. Her book directly addresses the pressing needs of those in need around the world. It encourages readers to open their eyes to the issues that we may not see.

“Helping those in need is not about guilt, handouts or charity,” Yeatts said. “Rather, the support is about justice, compassion and change.”
