Aldous Mina is a Washington, D.C.–based economic development consultant, author, and federal civil servant with extensive experience in frontier and emerging markets. He has worked with the World Bank, served in the federal government managing American Recovery and Reinvestment Act projects, and volunteered with the U.S. Peace Corps in Romania, supporting international economic development and trade.

An accomplished author and media contributor, Mina created the faceconomics book series and podcast, exploring the role of social media in economic development. He is a frequent guest on national and international media outlets, including CNN, CBS, and FOX News.

Currently, Mina is running as a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate from Virginia in the 2026 General Election. He is passionate about economic development, job creation, human rights, and diplomacy, drawing inspiration from his upbringing as the son of legal immigrants.

Favorite Liberty Memory:
Founding and leading the Liberty University International Business Council, participating in Washington, D.C. diplomatic meetings, playing in pickup soccer games, and performing with the Thomas Road Church Orchestra.

Advice to Students:
“Never give up, when life hands you lemons turn them into lemon pie, lemon juice, lemon soup, lemon chips, lemon cake, lemon burger, lemon barbecue, lemon toast, lemon fries, and sell them to the world via your social media page.”
