Campus invasion — Studio and Digital Art (SADA) students from Prof. Todd Smith’s sculpture class created people out of plastic and set them up on the second and third floor of DeMoss Hall on Mon., Oct. 3. This is an annual project and, usually, the plastic people are put out in the courtyard behind DeMoss. However, according to students, the sculptures had to be moved indoors because of construction in the courtyard. According to Ryan Loucks, a senior from the class, the materials used for the sculptures, such as chicken wire, plastic wrap and newspaper stuffing, are readily accessible to students, making this project “a really easy way to do the whole human form.” Photo credit: Ben Lesley
