New Albums!
July 25, 2017
New albums, new albums galore! We’ve scoured the Internet for some reviews about the newest and “hottest” albums that are out there, and we’ve found three that we think could interest you. Check them out below!
Oh Wonder – “Ultralife”
“Surfacing to instant global acclaim in 2014 with their self-titled debut, the duo of Josephine Vander Gucht and Anthony West have now returned with the melodic and atmospheric ‘Ultralife,’ a journey through time and space, and love and loss.” Read the review here.
Foster the People – “Sacred Hearts Club”
“Sacred Hearts Club” gets the delicate mix right, getting progressively more complex as you go through the album, delivering pure shimmering pop like “Pay the Man” and “Sit Next to Me” at the beginning, and ending with a glimpse of the L.A.-based band’s ambition in such complex, thrilling songs as “Loyal Like Sid & Nancy” and “Harden the Paint.” The full review can be found here.
LANY – “LANY”
“With this massive full-length (and I say massive, because it clocks in at sixteen songs in length) LANY are able to not only explore sounds they haven’t had a chance to showcase on previous releases but also take listeners on an emotional and personal journey.” Here is where you can find the Prelude Press review.
