If you desire to work with people in a ministry setting, then this professional degree can help you accomplish your goal. This degree will give you the chance to help others by giving them insight into Scripture and helping them find God’s plan for their lives.
This degree is primarily focused on preparing you for working in a church or parachurch organization. However, the general track provides you with the opportunity to choose courses that suit your particular personal and professional goals. This way, you can prepare for many different types of occupations such as teaching, writing, or family advocacy.

- Monday-only classes for master’s programs allow students to complete large portions of their M.Div. degree by attending class just 1 day a week.
- Take advantage of opportunities to use our state-of-the-art homiletics teaching lab in our School of Divinity Freedom Tower.

- Institutional Challenge Exams are available to test out of foundational biblical and theological studies content for the M.Div. program.

- Our Freedom Tower’s Scriptorium gives students access to valuable resources and artifacts like the Rawlings Foundation rare books collection, a 111-foot-long Torah scroll that dates back to the 16th century, and a functioning replica of the Gutenberg Printing Press.

Admission Requirements for Master of Divinity Programs
Every application is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and all applicants must submit the following documents and meet the minimum requirements for admission:
- Admission application
- Official bachelor’s degree transcripts with a 2.0 GPA or higher
- Self-certification form for students in the final term of their bachelor’s degree
- Rawlings School of Divinity questionnaire
- Pastoral recommender contact information
- Current Liberty undergraduate students seeking preliminary acceptance into a graduate program must complete a degree completion application through their ASIST account
