Become equipped to better serve the church as a skilled, passionate leader of worship while you pursue a Master of Arts in Worship Studies from the School of Music. Through the program, you will receive training in qualitative and quantitative research methods in order to adapt worship theory to the local church. You will also learn to minister in a variety of evangelical worship cultures with skill and expertise.
Through the Worship Techniques concentration, you will take courses such as The Dynamics of the Worship Leader, Principles of Worship Technology, and Music Resources & Literature for Worship Leading.

- The special relationship between the worship leader and the pastor, worship leader and other staff members, singers/instrumentalists, and the congregation

Admission Requirements for Our Graduate Degree Programs
A 3.0 GPA is required for admission in good standing. Every application is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and all applicants must submit the following documents and meet the minimum requirements for admission:
- Admission application
- Self-certification form (for students who are in the final term of their bachelor’s degree)
- Current Liberty undergraduate students seeking preliminary acceptance into a graduate program must complete a degree completion application through their ASIST account
- Completion of an earned baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in one of the following areas: bachelor’s degree in music, music education, or music and worship
