Liberty University’s Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Special Education – Adapted and General Curriculum K-12 is designed to help equip you for licensure. With this licensure focus, you can discover how to serve students with mild to severe disabilities across K-12 classrooms.

This licensure-track program integrates evidence-based instruction with hands-on classroom experience to help prepare you for a meaningful and in-demand teaching career. You can complete practicum placements, study how to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and work to build the tools to lead with purpose – all while studying on a campus that encourages academic and spiritual growth.

Admission Requirements for Our Undergraduate Degree Programs

Every application is reviewed by the admission committee on a case-by-case basis, meaning there are no set minimums for acceptance. However, all applicants must submit the following documents* for admission:

  • Admission application
  • Official high school transcripts
  • Official college transcripts (if applicable)
  • Results from the CLT, SAT, or ACT are not required for admission, but may be used in consideration for merit-based aid.
