The Civil Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission(s) of ABET, https://www.abet.org, under the General Criteria and the Program Criteria for Civil and Similarly Named Engineering Programs.*
*ABET accredits postsecondary degree-granting programs housed within regionally accredited institutions. They accredit programs only, not degrees, departments, colleges, or institutions.

Admission Requirements for Our Undergraduate Degree Programs
Every application is reviewed by the admission committee on a case-by-case basis, meaning there are no set minimums for acceptance. However, all applicants must submit the following documents* for admission:
- Admission application
- Official high school transcripts
- Official college transcripts (if applicable)
- Results from the CLT, SAT, or ACT are not required for admission, but may be used in consideration for merit-based aid.
- Admission essay
*Note that additional documentation may be requested by the admission committee after your application has been received.
Internship Opportunities and Facilities Available to Civil Engineering Students
- Pursue an optional internship during your senior year where you’ll work alongside seasoned professionals to make practical use of your skills and knowledge.
- Internship opportunities are available in 9 states and 4 countries as well as companies like Apple Computer, Boeing, Georgia Pacific, NASA, Disney, the National Ground Intelligence Center for the U.S. Army, and Red Hat, each of which has accepted our students as interns in the past.
- With required labs in many of your engineering courses, you’re guaranteed hands-on experience prior to graduation. Your labs take place in our engineering facilities which house some of the latest technology in the field.
