Stephen Müller, Ph.D.

While a high school choral teacher, Dr. Müller’s choirs won numerous local, regional, and national awards, including Sweepstakes at UIL Choir Contest (Texas) and Best in Show at several festivals. He has served as an adjudicator and clinician for contests and choirs around the country. He is particularly proud of his former students as they continue their studies and enjoy academic and professional success in many different fields. He continues to share his love for choral music with the choirs under his direction at Liberty. They can frequently be seen performing around the campus and community. After serving in the School of Music as Associate Dean of the Center for Music Education & Performance, Dr. Müller was named Dean of the School of Music in the spring of 2021.
