The Light

The Light Radio is a Christian college radio station on the campus of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. The format of The Light is classic Christian, and it’s all good. The Light is the exclusive radio home for all the Liberty men’s division 1 hockey home games. All Convocations and Campus Community events air on the Light each Wednesday and Friday during the school year. The Light is a place where students can serve to learn about day to day operations of a radio station.

We take requests during live music programming on weekday nights.

Programming

The Light is a Top 40 College Christian radio station. We play Christian Modern Rock, Hip Hop and R&B as well as other popular Christian songs. Students produce the majority of our broadcast day, aired from Liberty University. In addition to our regular music programming we also air specialty music shows, newscasts, sports and Liberty Campus Church Services.

Convocation / Campus Community

Join us every Wednesday and Friday at 10:30am as we tune in to Liberty University’s Convocation. Also tune in Wednesday nights as we listen to God’s Word at Campus Community.
