Do you want to work with families and have a positive impact on the next generation? Liberty’s family and child development degree can be your key to a career in advocating for families and individuals in need.

Throughout this degree, you will develop an in-depth understanding of how family units work and how you can help repair or reinforce the ties that bind a family together. Liberty’s mission is to Train Champions for Christ, so we are committed to training you through the lens of a Christian worldview. Our goal is to bring you the knowledge and experience you need to take that goal and fulfill God’s calling on your life. You will receive a Christian education from professors who are grounded in their faith and have years of professional experience.

  • All Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) students complete an internship their senior year.

    Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Degree Programs

    Every application is reviewed by the admission committee on a case-by-case basis, meaning there are no set minimums for acceptance. However, all applicants must submit the following documents* for admission:

    • Admission application
    • Official high school transcripts
    • Official college transcripts (if applicable)
    • Results from the CLT, SAT, or ACT are not required for admission, but may be used in consideration for merit-based aid.
