Discover the LUOA Difference!
Liberty University Online Academy (LUOA) is not just another online educational institution. While many online schools focus primarily on academics, LUOA understands that extracurricular activities play a pivotal role in shaping a student’s development. We offer several extracurricular activities, both in person and virtual, just like a traditional in-person school! These activities not only encourage personal growth but also help in building social skills and leadership qualities — fostering talents outside the classroom.
Check out the exciting extracurricular activities below that set LUOA apart from other online and traditional schools.
-
Student Clubs
At LUOA, we believe that education isn’t just about academics; it’s also about forging connections, discovering new passions, and fostering personal growth. This philosophy shines brightly through our array of clubs. Our virtual clubs serve as platforms where students come together, transcending geographical barriers. By joining clubs, students don’t just find peers with similar interests; they find friends, mentors, and a community of support.
-
Chapel Services
LUOA remains at the forefront of ensuring that its students receive not just academic enrichment but also spiritual guidance. Our monthly virtual chapel provides students with the invaluable opportunity to hear from esteemed leaders at Liberty University and from within the local community. Their insights, drawn from years of experience and deep-rooted faith, offer a fresh perspective on spirituality, leadership, and personal growth.
-
School-Wide Events
At LUOA, we believe that the heart of education beats stronger when surrounded by a vibrant and supportive community. Recognizing the transformative power of these connections, we’ve gone above and beyond to create a variety of in-person opportunities for our students and their families to come together. We seek to not just host events but create experiences for the whole family, ensuring that every family member feels integral to the LUOA journey.

With LUOA, you’re not just homeschooling — you’re transforming your home into a private Christian school. You want your student to have all the benefits of a private education while providing a Christian learning environment and value system. That’s what we offer — the best of both worlds.
